With reliable medication being only accessible through a physical drug store in Latin America, there was an impending need to reinvent the medical distribution with an alternative business model. The idea of branching out to a digital platform would highly benefit patients with special needs and help them find the best prices available.
The great vision was to build a solid structure to become the Amazon of pharmacological treatment in Latin America. Therefore, providing a single-source-of-truth database with every product and medication a patient could need.
For OkuFarma’s custom software solution, we started with our Design Sprint service in order to define the customers goals and create a realistic roadmap before development. During this process we realized that the project would require a larger investment and more resources for it to become a reality.
